Each morning, enjoy a gourmet breakfast that combines new twists on old favorites (Banana Bread French Toast) with exquisitely prepared New American inventions (Smoked Gouda Egg Tart With Spinach). Fresh fruit and juice accompany each hot breakfast. Coffee and tea are available throughout the morning, starting at 7am. With a different breakfast menu every day, you'll have to stay a while to enjoy them all. Vegetarian and other dietary restrictions can be accommodated. Please indicate your special needs when booking your room.
From 4:30-6:00 in the afternoon, enjoy a selection of red and white wines and appetizers in the inn’s common area. Relax by the fireplace, play a chess or card game if the mood strikes you, or enjoy your refreshments on your private balcony.

In addition to devising the inn's Gourmet Breakfast program, Chef Ken Landis is a frequent wine judge at competitions across the state of California. He also conducts cooking demonstrations at major food and wine events, and creates the inn's legendary New Year's Eve dinner.
Meet Owner and Sommelier Ellen Landis
In addition to directing the wine program at Landis Shores, Ellen is a frequent wine judge at national and international wine competitions. Ellen is a wine educator, speaker, and consultant, and would be thrilled to arrange a private tasting event at the inn for couples or small groups.
